‘Mallanna’ is the Telugu title of ‘Kandasaamy’ starring Vikram and Shriya in the lead roles. The whole unit of the film will be arriving Hyderabad after canning few scenes abroad. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, who is known for big budget shows. The film has been in the headlines from the day it started its shooting. The producer says that they have recently completed a schedule of canning few important scenes of the film at Mexico. Susi Ganesan was planning for a shot of ‘Kandasaamy’ with the cameraman Ekambaram at the Chennai Boat Club. An iron pole was put up as a part of the set which fell on Susi Ganesan’s head. The director was rushed to the hospital immediately and was treated for the deep cut. The shooting was called off for the day. Now the director has become alright and is back to resume the shooting of the film. ‘Kandasaamy’ is produced by S. Thanu and the music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Vikram plays ten different roles in the film. ‘Kandasaamy’ also has the Telugu actor Krishna, father of Mahesh Babu, playing a prominent role in the film. |
